  -> Sveltia CMS (browser commits directly)
  -> GitHub push triggers CF Pages build
  -> Static HTML on the edge

Key points

1. CF Pages free tier supports private repositories with build-on-push.
2. No backend for the CMS: Sveltia is a pure SPA authenticated with a GitHub fine-grained PAT.
3. Binaries live on cloud drives or R2; the site itself is just HTML/CSS/JS.
4. Each locale has its own content folder; matching slugs make language switching a path-prefix swap.

Cost

Hosting is free. The only required spend is your own domain (~$8/yr).
